Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Untether. By using the app, you agree to them. Please read the health note below carefully.

Untether ("the app," "we," "us") is operated by Bailey Quinn, a sole proprietor doing business as AI Automated Solutions, based in Mississippi, USA.

1. What Untether is, and is not

Untether is a self-help tracking tool, not a medical service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a medical device or a substitute for professional care. Nicotine dependence is a serious health matter. If you need help, talk to a doctor or a licensed cessation program. We make no promise that using Untether will help you reduce or stop nicotine use, and any figures the app shows are estimates based on what you enter.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older to use Untether. By using the app you confirm that you are.

3. Your account and data

Untether does not require an account. Your tracking data is stored on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Untether offers an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the full app. Current options in the United States are a yearly plan and a monthly plan; the price shown in the app at the time of purchase is the one that applies, and prices may vary by region or be offered at a promotional rate.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
If a free trial is included, it begins when you start it. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription before it ends.
The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's policies, not by us.

5. Acceptable use

Use Untether for your own personal tracking. Don't attempt to break, copy, resell, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app or its systems.

6. Our content

The app, its name, design, and text are owned by us and protected by law. These terms don't give you ownership of any of it.

7. No warranty

Untether is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim related to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top and post the new version here. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
