Untether is built to be private by default. Your tracking data stays on your device. We don't run ads, we don't sell data, and we don't ask you to create an account.
This policy explains what Untether ("the app," "we," "us") does with information when you use it. Untether is operated by Bailey Quinn, a sole proprietor doing business as AI Automated Solutions, based in Mississippi, USA.
Untether saves the following on your device only, so the app can show your timer, streak, savings, and plan. This information is not sent to us or to anyone else:
This data lives in local storage on your phone. We have no server that receives or holds it.
If you start a free trial or subscribe, the purchase is processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We use RevenueCat to confirm whether your subscription is active so the app can unlock. To do that, Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase records and device identifiers tied to the transaction. We do not receive your payment details such as your card number.
If you allow notifications, Untether schedules reminders locally on your device for tracking nudges and milestones. These are generated on your phone. We do not send them from a server and we do not collect anything through them.
Untether does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or precise location. It does not include third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and it does not build a profile of you.
We do not sell or rent your information. The only third parties involved are Apple and RevenueCat, and only for handling your subscription as described above.
Because your data is stored on your device, you stay in control of it. Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device. Your subscription is managed separately through your Apple Account.
Untether is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Your tracking data is kept in your device's app storage, protected by your device's own security. No system is perfectly secure, but because we don't transmit or store your tracking data off your device, the surface area is small by design.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and post the new version here. If a future version of the app adds anything that collects new data, such as analytics or crash reporting, we'll update this policy before that change ships.
